Q. When should I avoid taking a temperature and hoe should I clean the used thermometer?
A. Don’t take temperature after you had taken a hot drink or a meal, or smoked a cigarette as it will give a high reading which might unnecessarily worry you. when you have used a thermometer, wash it in cool water and never wash it is hot water as the mercury thermometer might break in it.
