Apple Mint is also known as pineapple mint, woolly mint or round-leafed mint. It belongs to the scientific family Lamiaceae and kingdom Plantae. It is a perennial plant ad belongs to the genus of Mentha. Apple mint ranges to a height between 40 and 100 centimetres. The leaves are light green in colour with 3 to 5 cm length and 2 to 4 cm width. The leaves look hairy in the top and soft underneath. The flowers are 4 to 9 cm long. Apple mint blossoms between mid and late summer. The plant has got fruity and mint flavour of fragrance.
