Dill seeds are not actually the seeds but the dark, flat fruits of the highly beneficiary dill herb plant. Where everyone knows that the dill plant has many uses from the kitchen to the pharmacy, the seed doesn’t lag much far behind. It is also used in cooking just like the plant and has applications in the medicinal field also. Its scientific term is Anethum Graveolens but the seed can also be called Peucedanum Graveolens.
