What is endometriosis?

Q. What is endometriosis?

A. When some cells of the womb( endometrium) settle in other parts of the abdomen, then you have endometriosis. Due to this, every month these cells break down and there is little amount of bleeding from the associated blood vessels. In the case where there is no way for the blood to pass, it collects like a bruise. And as the blood liquefies, it gives rise to a sticky, painful cyst which gets stuck onto other things.
