What is ectopic pregnancy?
Q. What is ectopic pregnancy?
A. In this, pregnancy is in the wrong place. Normally fertilized egg passes from the fallopian tube into the womb but if there is delay in reaching the womb, then the fertilized egg will rest in the lining of the tube. As the foetus grows, it stretches too much and pregnancy becomes doomed, leading to rupture of fallopian tubes and severe haemorrhage.
