How is induction done?
Q. How is induction done?
A. If the cervix is not ready for the labour, then a labour, then a special pessary is inserted in the vagina, which causes the uterus to contract and cervix to open. A cut is made into the membranes to allow the amniotic fluid to filter out. If this does not work then synthetic hormone is given through intravenous drip to allow labour to begin.
